It is possible to generate and download a standard (default) PDF document from the contents of each form. To set this up, open the tab "Properties" in the right side bar of a form, select the group ‘Sharing’ on the right and activate ‘Share PDF’ and ‘Show default’
Now that everything is set up, you can directly generate and download a standard PDF from a specific form in the web app and app. This function is available at the top right of a form by pressing the ellipsis icon.
If you want to design your own specific Merge document, you can use the Word Add-in (downloadable from https://portal.any2info.com/add-ins/word)
After you have created a template in the Word Add-in, you can add it to a form. This requires 3 actions:
Open the Footer under the canvas and select ‘Merge documents’.
Upload/Overwrite your template from your (local) drive and enter relevant information.
Save
Go back to the tab Properties and select the "Merge Documents - Configure" option. Your template is available as Usable documents. Select and "drag and drop" it to Documents.
If you want to download a custom Word- and/or PDF-format, you can configure an action on a button.
To do this, place a button on the form and configure it with the general and styling properties. Then select the tab “Events” and select “On click”.
Add an action “Export form to document” and enter the requested information.
If "As PDF" is disabled only a Word format can be downloaded.
Now that everything is set up, you can directly generate and download a custom Word and/or PDF from a specific form in the web app and app.
