# Calculations & formulas

There are 3 types of calculations:

1. Calculate with **numeric fields**
2. Calculate with **date-time fields**
3. Calculate **numeric footer values** on (sub)form overviews

**Reference to point 1 and 2**: The configuration of a numeric or date-time formula is available on the property "**Formula**" of tab General of the field.

**Reference to point 3**: The configuration of a overview (footer) formula is available on the tab "Layout - Page - Overview fields - Configure". Here you can edit numeric calculation fields, by enable "styling" and select "numeric format"
